WaxTraxx is an app that displays album credits and liner notes for music in your Apple Music library. We respect your privacy and have designed the app to minimize data collection.
We do not collect or store any personal information.
When you view an album, we send only album metadata (artist name, album title, and identifiers like UPC) to our server to retrieve credits information from music databases. This is purely catalog data — no personal information is included.
If you use the "Report a Problem" feature, your feedback text is sent along with the album information to help us improve data accuracy.

Apple Music data is accessed through Apple's MusicKit framework. The other services receive only album search queries, not any user information. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle data.
Access to your Apple Music library is handled entirely through Apple's MusicKit framework. We do not have access to your Apple Music account credentials or subscription status.
All personal data (your library, viewing history, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage. We do not maintain user accounts or cloud-synced personal data.
WaxTraxx does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
